Year 6 2016/17

Welcome to Year Six!

Our ‘Class Values’ which are based include Respect, Friendship, Excellence, Inclusion, Courage, Equality, Determination, Aspiration and Inspiration; to ‘Be the Best we can be’.  The Year Sixes are demonstrating how they can set a positive example to others and actively contribute to their school community.

Year Six pupils are given special responsibilities as House Captains / Vice, Head/ Vice Boy / Girl, Buddies, School Councillors, Monitors and Helpers.  All are doing a fantastic job and helping to make our school and classroom community a safe, happy, inclusive and a very special place to be.

In the Curriculum, Year Six work hard to get used to the extra demands of the year in preparation for the SATS, which will take place in May. Expectations are high, and Year Six are rising fantastically to the challenge and doing their best.

Enjoy exploring your website and learning zone.  The year sixes are also preparing pages for their own website: watch this space!
