Year 2 2016/17

Welcome to Year 2

This page should enable you to be more informed about the exciting learning taking place in our classroom.

We are all working hard to improve our English and Maths skills in preparation for year 3 and kS2

We are also having lots of fun and will try to share some of the super work we are producing in the classroom.

Last year our topics were Farming and The Fire of London. This Spring term we have an alien spacecraft landed in our classroom and we are teaching our guests about our amazing planet Earth – The Little Blue Planet.

Later in the year, we hope to learn about some famous people and life in Castles.

Science  will include future work on Materials , Plants and Scientists when we complete our present work on Living things and their Habitats.

We will also try to share some of our favourite reading books as we are a class who are very keen on reading and sharing a range of books.
